It’s good to be back.
For the Ottawa Senators, the five-game road trip had a little bit of everything. They looked bad and they looked good. They staged dramatic comebacks and fell victim to devastating collapses. Then, on the final night, the perfect road game. Package it all together and what you get is an entirely fine 2-2-1 record and all without their number one goalie.
The Senators finally return home for the first time in a couple weeks and waiting for them is a freaking mammoth.
Just an optional morning skate for the Senators today. Heck, even Travis Green took the morning off. We’re gonna have to wait until a little closer to game time to know how the Sens will line up for this. We’ll assume same look as in Buffalo the other night.

Linus Ullmark and Jonas Johansson were the only two goalies on the ice. Samuel Ersson was the expected starter though. We’ll find out soon and if we don’t, I’ll just walk down to the CTC and ask.
Puck drops just a shade after 7:00 PM at The Tire. The game is on Sportsnet One, TVA Sports and on the radio at TSN1200. Saturday night is alright for both fighting and illegal streaming so keep an eye out for links in the comment section below.
Now, get to know tonight’s opponent, the apparently very real Utah Mammoth.
