Game Day – Senators Host Red Wings on Monday Night

This is a big one.

After momentum-flipping wins over the Washington Capital and the Winnipeg Jets in the last few days, the Sens seem to have the ship pointed in the right direction. But with the standings as tight as they are right now, they need to keep their foot on the gas. Tonight, they get a crack at one of the teams they are chasing.

The Ottawa Senators close out the homestand on Monday night against the Detroit Red Wings.

Forward combinations have been in a blender the last couple weeks but maybe something like this again? We’ll confirm at the morning skate. And then again ten minutes into the game.

Tkachuk-Cozens-Batherson
Zetterlund-Stutzle-Giroux
Grieg-Pinto-Amadio

Leevi Merilainen gets another start for the good guys.

Puck drop is scheduled for just a shade after 7:30 PM tonight. The game is being made available for streaming by a man named Jeff Bezos or you can listen on the radio at TSN1200. 104.7 FM has the game en francais.
