Some dizzying highs and some punishing lows.
The Ottawa Senators have packed a lot into the first four games of the season. On the ice, their performance has been solid. Not spectacular but they’re finding ways. They have a 3-1-0 record, that has them sitting atop the Atlantic Division with just 80 games left to play. It’s the injuries that have been a concern in the early going. Jake Sanderson’s status is still extremely unclear, Artem Zub is close but not there yet and William Eklund is gonna be out for a long time. Take the good with the bad, I suppose.
The Senators will look to be careful but also to continue their winning ways when they play host to Nashville Predators on Saturday night in beautiful Kanata, Ontario.
One change to the Ottawa lineup from the other night against the Flyers. William Eklund is out with that ankle injury but the good news is Andre Burakovsky is ready to go. Artem Zub was back on the ice in a regular jersey this morning but isn’t ready just yet.
Here’s how Travis Green lined his guys up at the morning skate…
Burakovsky-Stützle-Batherson
Greig-Cozens-Zetterlund
Amadio-Pinto-Giroux
Foegele-Halliday-Cousins
Chabot-Spence
Kleven-Yakemchuk
Matinpalo-Stanley
Linus Ullmark gets another start for the good guys.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 PM at the The Tire. Sportsnet One has the TV coverage, TSN1200 has a radio call and our ol’ pal Bort is back with the illegal online streaming options. Watch the comment section below.
Still tickets left for this one too if you wanna get a little weird on a Saturday night.
