It’s pretty hard to complain about the way this season has started.
I mean, we’ll find ways but generally, this is as good a start as the Sens could have asked for. If at the beginning of the season you told me the Sens would start 8-4-0, I would have almost certainly made a joke about 84-0. After that, I would have been thrilled. The Senators have danced around some tough injury luck and find themselves in a pretty good spot as they close out the month of October.
But these next couple weeks are gonna be tough. They’ll play their next five games away from the friendly confines of the Canadian Tire Centre and for now anyway, they’ll do it without a starting goalie.
The Ottawa Senators kick off this road trip with a stop in Las Vegas.
Here’s a look at how they’ll line up tonight

Puck drops at just a shade after 10:00 PM and if you’re reading this, you should probably be napping. The game is on TSN5, unless you use the TSN app and have every damn game blacked out for some reason. Radio coverage is at TSN1200, assuming AM radio is still a thing. Streams are there too.
