Just five games into the regular season, the injuries are already starting to pile up for the Ottawa Senators.
On Saturday afternoon, Matt Murray’s name was added to the list. Late in another strong start, Murray took a Chris Kreider knee to the head (shocking, I know) that will keep him out of the lineup for at least tomorrow night’s game against the Washington Capitals. And probably longer.
Meanwhile, the Senators announced that they have sent Parker Kelly to Belleville and recalled Filip Gustavsson to take Murray’s place in the crease.
