Do they have your attention yet?
Last night, the Ottawa Senators reeled off a fourth straight win, this time finding a way to grind out a 3-2 win over the surprisingly red-hot Pittsburgh Penguins. It looked pretty familiar actually. Give the other team next to nothing, score a big goal when you need it most and get a save or two along the way. It’s been a simple formula for the Sens the last little bit and it’s working.
They’ll look to keep it rolling as they visit one of the top teams in the National Hockey League, the Carolina Hurricanes.
No Game Day skate for the Senators today but would assume we see a similar lineup although would not be surprised to see Matinpalo draw in for Jensen on defence.
Batherson-Stützle-Giroux
Tkachuk-Cozens-Greig
Amadio-Pinto-Zetterlund
Halliday-Eller-Cousins
Sanderson-Zub
Chabot-Jensen/Matinpalo
Kleven-Spence
Nothing official yet but James Reimer is your likely starter.
Puck is droppin in a few hours so get nappin! The game is available on TSN5, RDS, TSN1200, 104.7 FM and on StreamThoseSens.org.
A closer look at this evening’s match-up via something we’ll call the HEAD2HEAD table.
