You know, I’ve always respected the Montreal Canadiens.
So much history. A passionate fan base. A roster filled with small but feisty forwards that play the game the right waaaaaaaahhhhh to hell with it.
I hate everything about them.
The Senators and Canadiens square off for the third time this month at the Centre Bell (that’s french for Bell Centre).
Ottawa is coming off a tidy road win last night in Detroit. Chris Tierney scored twice, Thomas Chabot had his 9th of the season and Mark Stone notched the game winner. And in a stunning turn of events, they allowed fewer than 30 shots.
Certainly something to build off of as they play a tough back to back tonight in Montréal (that’s French for Montreal).
The line up will remain a bit of a mystery until puck drop. 11/7 is a possibility and it sounds like there’s a chance Christian Jaros returns to the blueline. Would expect Tom Pyatt to be a healthy scratch again. A best guess for now.

Mike McKenna gets the start for the Senators. Puck drop is scheduled for just after 7:00 PM.
The game is available on Sportsnet which means the ol’ mute button is getting a work out tonight. The game is also available on the AM radio and the streams, they shall flow like water.
As the old saying goes, when it comes to a table, it’s better to table late than to table never.
