Game Day- Senators Travel to Dallas to Visit Stars

It’s a good thing this is a late start because under normal circumstances, this Game Day post would be dropping well into the first period.

How about a round of applause for central standard time?!

A couple days after an incredibly disappointing home ice loss against the Los Angeles Kings, the Ottawa Senators will be looking to turn the page on that chapter…as they hit the road to face the high-flying Dallas Stars.

One change to the lineup ahead as Parker Kelly takes a turn in the press box. Dylan Gambrell draws back in and takes the centre ice spot on line three. Derick Brassard will skate with Mark Kastelic and Austin Watson.

Here’s how DJ Smith had ’em lined up this morning.

Tkachuk-Stützle-Giroux
DeBrincat-Pinto-Batherson
Motte-Gambrell-Joseph
Brassard-Kastelic-Watson

Chabot-Zaitsev
Sanderson-Hamonic
Brannstrom-Holden

Anton Forsberg gets the start for the Senators

Look, I’m gonna level with you. Puck drop is pretty soon. The game is on TSN5, RDS and I assume, on shady streaming sites all across the information highway, although I am just guessing at this point.

One day the HEAD2HEAD table is a healthy scratch and the next day, it’s all we have. Let that be a lesson to you. A lesson on what, I am not entirely sure.
