Game Day – Senators Look to Bounce Back in Winnipeg

I think it’s safe to say we’re still getting to know this year’s edition of the Ottawa Senators.

As we approach the half-way mark of a season that will include a big ol’ Olympic break in the second half, we have seen a bit of everything from this team.

Most recently, they are a team capable of controlling the game for long stretches but far too often, they are leaving points on the table. It was only a month ago they were known for doing the exact opposite of that. Sometimes the power play is lights out, sometimes it’s costing them games. Sometimes the goaltending is good and sometimes it’s the reason they can’t string together wins. Consistently inconsistent as the ol’ saying goes. Like most teams in this league, actually.

The Ottawa Senators will look to get things back on track as they visit Connor Hellebuyck and the Winnipeg Jets.

This is how Travis Green had ’em lined up at the game day skate in Winnipeg.
