Game Day- Senators Host Rangers on Sunday Night

Webster’s Dictionary defines tripping as “to get high on a psychedelic drug (such as LSD):– often used with out.” Interesting. They go on to state that tripping can also be defined as “to catch the foot against something so as to stumble”.

Yes that’s the one I was looking for. Keep that in mind for a moment. Now that we have clarity on the definition of the word, allow me to provide you with an example.

In this case, the foot belongs to Nick Paul, who as we know, does it all. The thing causing said foot to stumble is of course, the stick of David Pastrnak. The same stick used to score the game-winning goal only seconds later. So I guess what I’m saying is, where the hell was the call on that one, Webster?!

Onward and upward, as the old saying goes! The Ottawa Senators are right back at it on Sunday night when they play host to DJ ZBad and the rest of the high-flying New York Rangers.

In all honestly, it’s probably time to drop the the jokes about Zibanejad. We can scratch them entirely, actually. While the tables turned on that trade long ago, there’s no need to beat a dead horse here.

Anyway.

The Senators will forego their game day twirl this morning in favour of a little bit of rest and relaxation. Relaxation is a weapon, you know. We’ll assume they go with a similar lineup as yesterday against the Bruins but wouldn’t be surprised to see some tinkering around the edges.

The real DJ will meet with the media at 2:10 PM so we’ll find out what he has in mind then.

Filly Franchise is your starter.

Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 PM which means your Sunday evening dinner plans with that annoying uncle of yours are mega-cancelled. The game is available on TSN5, TSN1200 or if the mood is right, you can take a stroll down to the CTC and see this thing in real-life because as you know, we got our freedoms back.

And now, what you’ve all been waiting for and what some of you probably scrolled ahead to long ago. Often imitated but never duplicated, THE HEAD2HEAD TABLE!
