Game Day- Senators Host Hurricanes

Nine more to go.

That’s only like 540 minutes stoppage time. Maybe like 27 hours tops. In many ways, the season is already over if you really think about it. But in a more accurate sense, there are nine games remaining.

One of those games will take place tonight in beautiful Kanata, Ontario.  Carolina Hurricanes and Ottawa Senators go head to head tonight at the Canadian Tire Centre.

On one side, you have a a rudderless ship lead by an obnoxious meddling Owner who has grabbed headlines around the league for his for his hands-on, know-it-all approach.  On the other side, the Ottawa Senators.

A Carolina/Ottawa game is a snoozer at the best of times but with the stakes lower than they have ever been, there is a good chance this game will be postponed for the health and well-being of hockey fans in both cities. And if that doesn’t happen, well then god help us all.

Marian Gaborik missed practice yesterday and is considered questionable for tonight and probably for the duration of his contract.

Some great news on the line up front as Captain Erik Karlsson makes his return. If you’re headed to the game tonight, this would be a great time to let the guy know just how much we appreciate him.

Michael Condon will be the fearless guardian of the Senators goal. The puck has already dropped if you really think about it.  Time is a flat circle. Everything we have done or will do we will do over and over and over again- forever.
