Game Day- Senators Host Hurricanes in Final Home Game

It feels like just the other day that the Senators hosted the Boston Bruins in the home opener at the Canadian Tire Centre.

In a season filled with renewed hope and optimism, the Sens came out flying. They would end up beating one of the best teams in NHL history that night and the rink was rocking. Anyone who was there that night would tell you, it just felt different. Ultimately, Ottawa fell short of the playoffs this year but that rink hasn’t stopped buzzing all season long.

Packed barns, a fun hockey team just scratching the surface of its potential and an atmosphere that we haven’t seen at the CTC in years. It’s fun to be a Sens fan again.

The Ottawa Senators close out their home schedule tonight when they host the high-flying Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night.

No changes to the Ottawa lineup for this one.

Tkachuk-Stützle-Giroux
DeBrincat-Pinto-Batherson
Joseph-Gambrell-Brown
Sokolov-Kastelic-Gauthier

Sanderson-Zub
Brannstrom-Holden
Kleven-Bernard Docker

Mads Søgaard gets the start in goal for the good guys.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 PM at the Canadian Tire Centre in beautiful Kanata, Ontario. According to sources, there is no television or radio or internet coverage of this game so you better grab yourself a couple tickles and head on down to The Tire and say goodbye to the Sens in person.
