Game Day- Senators Host Canadiens at CTC

Hey, remember the Ottawa Senators?

They play a hockey game tonight!

It’s been four long days since we last saw our dear Senators. They were on a nice little run before this ridiculous break too.

They had just outscored the Los Angeles Kings and the Dallas Stars to the tune of 9-2 in what were their two best games of the season.

Everything seemed to be clicking for the Senators earlier this week so it will be interesting to see if they can pick up where they left off.

Tonight’s opposition is the Montreal Canadiens and I hate them. And you should too.

They have actually got off to a pretty good start this year, putting up a 4-1-1 record including three straight wins coming into this one.

Guy Boucher met with the media earlier today and said he’ll again go with 11 forwards and 7 defenceman. That means Christian Jaros plays and Nick Paul sits.

Here’s how the Coach lined ’em up at the morning skate.

Boedker-Duchene-Ryan
Dzingel-Tierney-Stone
Paajarvi-Smith-Pyatt
White-Carey

Chabot-DeMelo
Lajoie-Wideman
Borowiecki-Harpur
Jaros

Craig Anderson get the start in goal. Puck drop is scheduled for just after 7:00 PM.

The game is available on CityTV, which is still a thing apparently, and can probably be streamed if you have a decent dial up connection.
