Game Day? Again?! Why didn’t somebody say something???
Less than 24 hours after a dramatic comeback win over the Calgary Flames, the Ottawa Senators are right back at it as they visit Bo Horvat and the New York Islanders.
The Sens were lucky to come away with two points against the Flames but they should be riding a bit of a high after last night’s dramatic comeback win. They’ll need it too as they play the first of three back-to-backs in the month of February.
It’s a big one too as the Islanders are one of the million teams Ottawa has to catch if they’re going to force their way back into the playoff picture in the East. The Senators come into tonight trailing the Islanders by seven points although the Sens have four games in hand. A must-win, as the ol’ saying goes.
At least one change to the lineup as Nick Holden is expected to miss tonight’s game with an injury. Jacob Larsson has been recalled from Belleville and will play.
May be some other changes but we’ll assume the forward group remains intact.
