Game Day – Road Trip from Buffalo Ends in Hell

Oh! Another Sens Game Day! Splendid!

Things have been um not so great for the Ottawa Senators the last little while. They’ve dropped four straight on this most recent road trip and the last one may have been the worst yet. The Senators had a lead heading into that third period against the Flames and yet at no point did it cross my mind they might actually win the hockey game. It looked like the players were in a similar head space too.

The Senators will look to bounce back when they wrap up this road trip in Buffalo, against the equally disappointing Buffalo Sabres.

No practice for Jacques Martin’s group yesterday so we’ll have to wait until the Game Day skate to see what they have in mind for a lineup.

Artem Zub was a last minute scratch last game with a touch of the flu but he’s good to go tonight. Josh Norris is out after leaving the game with an upper-body injury on Tuesday night.

Here’s how they are expected to line up

Tkachuk-Greig-Giroux
Kelly-Stützle-Batherson
Kubalik-Joseph-Tarasenko
Kastelic-MacEwen

Chabot-Zub
Chychrun-Sanderson
Brannstrom-Hamonic
Bernard-Docker

Back to Anton Forsberg tonight.

The game is available on TSN5, TSN1200 and on streaming sites from coast to coast to coast. But if you really wanna spruce things up tonight, join me and all your SensChirp comment section favourites live and in person over at Beyond the Pale.

We’ll have the game up on the big screen and sources say we have about 384 SensChirp Beer to get through. Come give us a hand! You can book your spot here but walk-ups are more than welcome, should the thirst hit you over the course of the day.
