Another twist in the LeBreton Flats process.
After weeks of dramatic law suits and public negotiations within the RendezVous LeBreton group, the “other” bidder is now stepping forward to let it be known that they are still in the picture.
Last night, the DCDLS group released a statement and it would appear that they are trying to force the hand of the NCC.
According to the release, it is their belief that the rules outlined in the initial request for proposals clearly state that the NCC is now legally obligated to enter negotiations with their group.
And beyond that, they make it clear that they are open to one or both of the key partners involved in the RendezVous LeBreton group joining their bid.
The NCC Board of Directors is scheduled to meet in January.
