Cruising around YouTube today and I stumbled upon this video that is a must watch for fans of the Ottawa Senators.
Many of you may have seen this already but basically, it lays out the history of the Ottawa Senators, touching on the early years and then a detailed look at how Bruce Firestone, Cyril Leeder and Randy Sexton brought hockey back to the Nation’s Capital in the early 90’s. For new fans, it will give you a little perspective on how this franchise came to be and some of the hard work associated with bringing the NHL to Ottawa.
And for long-time fans, it’s a fun trip down memory lane.
Another good one here too- The Hockey Night in Canada opening from Ottawa’s first game
Annnnd one more- The first goal in franchise history scored by Neil Brady.
