After a pair of weekend preseason loses at the hands of the Blackhawks and Canadiens, the Ottawa Senators have made a round of cuts to their Training Camp roster.
And there are a couple bigger names among them.
Logan Brown and Drake Batherson are both included in a group of 22 players headed to Belleville of the American Hockey League.
Rudolfs Balcers, Andreas Englund, Macoy Erkamps, Gabriel Gagne, Filip Gustavsson, Marcus Hogberg, Joe Labate, Boston Leier, Aaron Luchuk, Stuart Percy, Jack Rodewald, Ryan Scarfo and Andrew Sturtz were all sent down. Another seven players were placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to the B-Sens training camp including Chase Balisy, Julius Bergman, Erik Burgdoerfer, Nick Paul, Ben Sexton, Patrick Sieloff and Adam Tambellini.
Jack Skille was released from his professional tryout agreement.
Filip Chlapik, Colin White, Brady Tkachuk, Alex Formenton, Christian Jaros, Max Lajoie and Christian Wolanin are among the bubble guys sticking around.
There are a total of 30 players in Camp including three goalies, nine defenceman and 18 forwards.
