Desperate for offence and stuck in the middle of a five game losing streak, the Senators are turning to Binghamton for help.
The Senators announced this afternoon that they have recalled forward Jean Gabriel Pageau from the American Hockey League. Pageau has appeared in 69 games with the BSens this season, racking up 7 goals and 29 points and a +8 plus minus rating.
As pointed out by The 6th Sens, if Pageau gets into a game during his promotion, he will incredibly become the 14th rookie to get into the Ottawa line up this season.
Will be interesting to see what the Sens have in mind with Pageau coming up. Bit of a head scratcher on the surface with no word of an injury or a player going back to Bingo. Jim O'Brien has been a healthy scratch the last few games.
The team is also waiting on Milan Michalek to declare himself ready to return, which could be as early as tomorrow night in Philadelphia.
