Lehner Starts vs. Leafs

Riding a five game winning streak, the Ottawa Senators are going to make a switch in between the pipes.

After being called up yesterday to replace the injured Alex Auld, the Sens have announced that Robin Lehner will be making the start in goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Craig Anderson has been in goal for each of the five victories on this latest run but will have a day off in the back to back situation. Great chance for Robin Lehner to make a mark at the NHL level.

The Leafs come in as one of the hottest teams in the NHL, including an impressive win over the Penguins last night.

Another young guy will get a shot but it will not be Filatov as originally thought.  Instead, Bobby Butler will draw in.  Alfredsson left the game against the Rangers after taking a Wolski elbow to the head and will not be available.  There was no update on his injury which is being called day to day for now.

Filatov is a healthy scratch.  I would assume the club had some concern about Konopka not being available and wanted to make sure they had a replacement ready.
