It’s hard to imagine the crowd will reach the level it did on Saturday night but the the game on the ice is just as important as the Binghamton Senators host Portland in game four of their best of seven series.
Binghamton holds a 2-1 edge.
Binghamton is not expected to make any changes from the line up that lost on Saturday night. That means Robin Lehner makes his seventh straight playoff start. Brust is healthy but will dress as back up to Lehner tonight.
No solid leads on the Sens search for a new head coach. What I do know is that Lindy Ruff and Kirk Muller were both believed to be strong candidates for the job with the Senators. Ruff has signed an extension in Buffalo and Muller is rumoured to be on his way to Dallas.
That takes a couple guys off the Sens list right off the bat.
Brad Shaw, a former defenceman with the Sens and assistant in St. Louis since 2006 is also a name believed to be in the mix. Andy Strickland indicated that the Blues will offer him a one year extension to stay on as an assistant next year.
It’s still fairly early in the search but I would expect things to pick up this week. As always, I will post any updates as I get them.
I know I took some heat for music commentary last week so I can only imagine what some political talk will do. But I’m gonna do it anyway…
Today is Election day in Canada and strongly encourage you all to get out and vote. We are lucky to live in a country where democracy is one of our rights as Canadian citizens and it’s important that we all do our civic duty and cast a ballot today.
