Continuing their run of releasing one piece of news each day this summer, the Ottawa Senators announced a minor signing this afternoon inking a key piece for the AHL affiliate.
The Sens have come to terms with RFA forward Corey Cowick on a one year, two way contract. Cowick was an important player for the BSens this past season recording 16 goals, and 35 points along with 85 penalty minutes in 72 games. Cowick is a great energy guy that found an offensive touch this past season.
With the 23 year old Cowick signed, the Senators just have Jared Cowen and Stephane Da Costa left to sign this off season.
Thanks everyone for the congratulatory messages.Extremely happy and excited to be with the hometown @NHL_Sens & @BSens_Hockey again. #Pesky
