With his Spokane Chiefs eliminated from the WHL playoffs, one of the Sens top prospects is on his way to Binghamton to join the Senators on their Calder Cup run.
Jared Cowen will look to carry over a strong playoff run with the Chiefs when he joins the Sens AHL team later today. He is not expected to be in the line up for tonight’s game.
The team in Bingo has had their fair share of injuries and could you really use some help on the backend. This is a great opportunity for Cowen to close out his season on a positive note and join a team that is on the verge of advancing to the third round of the Calder Cup playoffs.
Cowen registered 14 points in 17 playoff games with Spokane and was a +8.
