As a generally superstitious person, I am often faced with the thought that my actions directly impact the performance of the Ottawa Senators.
For example, SensChirp started in 2008. Seems harmless except when you consider that the team hasn’t been to the Stanley Cup Finals since the summer before. It might seem like a stretch that there would be a direct link between the existence of this silly website and team performance but who knows right?!
So I couldn’t help but notice that last game, when I was unable to post a Game Day article, the Senators turned in their best performance in weeks. So let’s consider this an experiment of sorts.
Can the Senators win a game on a day that I post something? Let’s find out, shall we?
The Senators visit the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Same lineup for the Senators as the other night vs. the Ducks.
Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson
Giroux-Stützle-Gaudette
Cousins-Pinto-Amadio
Gregor-Ostapchuk-Greig
Sanderson-Hamonic
Chabot-Jensen
Kleven-Bernard Docker
Same goalie too. Linus Ullmark starts.
Puck drops at 7:08 PM. Game is available on TSN5 and on the radio at TSN1200. Streams should pop up a little closer to game time.
No HEAD2HEAD table again. That thing is definitely cursed.
