Now that the most boring postseason in NHL history has mercifully reached a long-awaited conclusion, the real fun can begin.
Maybe it was because the regular season was entirely awful, maybe it’s because the Final featured two teams I could not possibly care less about or maybe it’s because basketball has an unusual amount of my attention these days…Whatever the reason, it sure was nice to see hockey end last night.
Now we know the real fun can begin.
The Entry Draft is a little over a week away which means the ol’ Sens news floodgates are about to open.
Hang on, folks. It’s about to get wild around here.
Okay, I’m going to be honest- I don’t know who that is.
But it’s Sens news damn it and it will have to do.
Klimchuk is actually a former first-round pick, acquired by the Senators part of the way through last season. I think we all remember where we were on that magical day when the Senators basically stole Klimchuk from the Maple Leafs.
Or something like that.
Klimchuk had four goals in eight games with the Belleville Senators last season.
Okay, Pierre…What’s next?!
