Senators Sign Josh Brown to Two Year Deal

Welcome to your Josh Brown years, everyone. Two of them at least.

Just a couple days after acquiring the RFA defenceman, the Senators have announced the signing of Josh Brown to a two year contract.

The contract carries a cap hit of $1.2M. Brown will earn $1M in 2020-21 and $1.4M in 2021-22.

Obviously this is a player the Sens really like and probably at a cheaper price than Mark Borowiecki is going to get on the open market this off-season. In his media availability today, Dorion mentioned that he actually tried to acquire Brown last year.

Josh Brown will wear number 3 with the Senators.
