If you prefer to be surprised by the result of a hockey game, then you may want to look away.
Seriously, there are spoilers ahead that will completely ruin this afternoon’s tilt between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Ottawa Senators. Okay, you have been warned.
One last chance to look away.
…
The Ottawa Senators are going to win today. Brady Tkachuk is scoring twice.
I don’t know how. I don’t know why. But it’s happening. And it starts at 4:08 PM.
The Senators have dropped the first three games of their season, and been outscored 15-8 along the way. They looked a lot better on Thursday against the defending Stanley Cup Champions but it wasn’t enough to come away with a victory.
Today, they match up against one of the league’s top offences and the defending President’s Trophy winners. It also happens to be a team that won the exact same number of playoff games as the Senators last year.
Zero. They won zero playoff games.
Here’s the line up.
Tkachuk-White-Ennis
Duclair-Tierney-Ryan
Namestnikov-Anisimov-Brown
Abramov-Pageau-Sabourin
Chabot-Zaitsev
Brannstrom-Hainsey
Borowiecki-DeMelo
Craig Anderson gets the start for the home side. The game is available on TSN5 and on various streaming web pages.
