As you all know by now, this year’s Rookie Tournament was uh cancelled and never happened. Too bad because I really felt like the Sens coulda done some damage this year.
Instead, the Ottawa Senators have turned their undivided attention to Travis Green’s Training Camp of Doom. A lot has been made about Green’s approach to Training Camp and today, we found out the names of the 56 players that will participate in the proceedings.
5 goalies, 20 defencemen and 31 forwards. We’ll see how many of these brave souls come out on the other side.
Players report tomorrow for medicals and fitness testing. Staios and Green will meet with the media at 2:00 PM. The first on-ice session is set for Thursday morning.
