Later this week, in some weird building in beautiful Buffalo, New York, a collection of people in Sens jersey will play a game of ice hockey.
It may not be the real thing just yet but the Sens are back!
This morning, the team announced the 26 players that will compete in the weekend showcase. The roster is headlined by the likes of Jake Sanderson, Ridly Greig, Tyler Boucher and Shane Pinto.
Plenty of intrigue in that Ottawa roster but maybe the best news is that a handful of guys recovering from significant injuries- specifically Greig, Sanderson and Pinto- are healthy and ready to go. And they really should be able to dominate an event like this. It’s also a great tune-up as they get set for the Main Camp.
The Sens rookies will play three games in total, with the first game scheduled for Friday afternoon against the Boston Bruins.
Friday, Sept. 16: Boston vs. Ottawa, 3:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 18: Ottawa vs. Montreal, 12 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 19: Buffalo vs. Ottawa, 1:30 p.m.
