Pierre Dorion has added some additional depth to the bottom part of his line up.
According to Pierre LeBrun, the Senators have acquired Hurricanes forward Viktor Stalberg. In exchange, the Senators give up a third round pick in 2017.
Stalberg is a good skater that can chip in offensively a little bit. He has 9 goals in 57 games with the Hurricanes this season. For the majority of the season, Guy Boucher has mostly used three lines. In adding Burrows and Stalberg, the Senators get some much needed depth at the bottom of their line up.
Stalberg won a Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013.
