It may not be the real thing just yet but this afternoon, a collection of hockey players wearing an Ottawa Senator jersey will take the ice in beautiful Buffalo, New York.

The Ottawa Senators take on the New Jersey Devils in this year’s Rookie Challenge Tournament opener. Puck drop is scheduled for somewhere around 12:00 PM.
The Sens will play a total of three games including Saturday against the Penguins and Monday against the Montreal Canadiens.

Friday, Sept. 15: Ottawa vs. New Jersey, 12 PM.
Saturday, Sept. 16: Ottawa vs. Pittsburgh, 12 PM.
Monday, Sept. 18: Montreal vs. Ottawa, 1:30 PM.
Then it’s Annual Golf Tournament on Tuesday, medicals and fitness testing on Wednesday and the first on-ice session of the Main Camp on Thursday. We’re into it now, folks!
