Even though all the most important moves of the off-season are still outstanding, it feels like we have officially entered the dog days of summer.
The start of a new season is still a good 65 days away and it’s becoming pretty clear we are going to have to find our own ways to pass the time around these parts.
How bout a contest?
Brady Tkachuk’s new contract has become one of the most popular topics among Sens fans recently.
Does Brady get a short-term bridge deal like so many other high profile RFAs? Does he sign on the dotted line on a max-term deal like the Senators have been pushing for? Or is he already secretly living in St. Louis with his brother Matthew, planning to sit for the next five seasons until he can sign there as a UFA?!?!
Who knows? You do, that’s who.
Here’s how it’s going to work.
All you have to do is predict the number of years and the total amount of the contract. And then, as a tiebreaker, add in the date the contract will be signed.
Winner is the person who gets the terms exactly right (and closest to the signing date).
