The organization has alway been high on McCormick but at the age of 25, the clock is ticking on his chance of being an NHL regular. He played in 20 games in 2015/2016 and dressed in 7 games last year.
McCormick is a high-energy guy but he has show a bit of a scoring touch in the American Hockey League. McCormick scored 21 goals in 66 with Binghamton last season.
