I was sure Pierre Dorion was going to give us another signing to talk about today but it seems like we’ll have to wait a little while longer.
Cody Ceci is the last player without a contract and by all accounts, there has been some movement in the contract talks this week. The original discussion about a long term deal (6 years at more than $4 million a season) has shifted to a bridge deal of sorts, possibly two years in length.
The two sides exchanged proposals this week but apparently have not been able to find common ground just yet.
So while we wait for the final RFA signing, I thought it might be interesting to learn a bit more about the SensChirp community.
Heading into the summer months I was sure this place was going to be a ghost town but it really hasn’t been. The comment section has been buzzing throughout the off-season with the regulars sticking around and some new faces popping up from time to time.
