Game 4 was pretty big. Game 5 was huge. But Game 6 on a Sunday night at the Canadian Tire Centre…
THIS is the biggest game of the year!
The Ottawa Senators look to extend their season again in a Game 6 showdown against the Montreal Canadiens. The Senators made a statement in Game 5 with a convincing 5-1 win and now have a chance to return home and continue this improbable first round comeback.
As impressive as the last couple games have been, the Sens will probably need to be even better if they want to force a Game 7 in this opening round series. After an embarrassing loss on home ice on Friday night, you know the Canadiens are going to bring their A-game tonight. The Senators have to match that intensity.
Playing in front of what should be an electric CTC crowd will certainly help.
No changes expected for the Senators. Both MacArthur and Pageau are a little banged up but according to Cameron’s media availability yesterday, both are expected to play. Having a little bit of a third period lead in the last game allowed Dave Cameron to distribute the ice time more evenly than he has at other times in the series. All four forward lines were involved in the game and Erik Karlsson played less than 25 minutes for the first time in the series. Ottawa has their morning skate scheduled for 10:30 AM. Here’s how the Sens are expected to line up.
MacArthur-Turris-Stone
Hoffman-Zibanejad-Ryan
Condra-Pageau-Lazar
Michalek-Smith-Chiasson
McEachern-Bonk-Alfredsson
Methot-Karlsson
Wiercioch-Ceci

Craig Anderson gets another start in the Ottawa goal. A reminder that the puck drop is set for just after 6:00 PM.
Let’s keep this thing going.
GO SENS GO!
