More afternoon hockey, anyone?
A little less than 24 hours after a shootout win over the Philadelphia Flyers, the Ottawa Senators are right back at it as they visit the Canadiens at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Heading into today’s Game, the Senators trail Montreal by 5 points with a couple games in hand. This is a tough one for the tankers among us because on one hand a regulation loss would solidify their spot at the bottom of the standings but also losing to the Montreal Canadiens is always awful.
So let’s just win by ten.
Guy Boucher met with the media in Montreal and said they’ll go with the same line up as yesterday in Philly. That means Freddy Claesson is the odd man out again on the blueline.
Here’s how they are expected to line up for this one.
Hoffman-Duchene-White
Dzingel-Brassard-DiDomenico
Smith-Pageau-Pyatt
Burrows-Thompson-Pajaarvi

Mike Condon gets the start in the Ottawa goal. Puck drop is scheduled for just after 1:00 PM.
Oh and by the way- Philadelphia 34 New England 31
