At this point, there’s really not much left to say. Mindless screaming is the best I can muster and it’s been that way for a couple weeks now. If you don’t know the situation, well that’s on you. This long but deliberate walk has reached what could be its most important step to date in Columbus, Ohio. It’s an opportunity nearly eight years in the making. No big deal though.
The Senators visit the Blue Jackets on Tuesday night.
There had been some speculation that Brady Tkachuk could make a return tonight but no such luck. While he has apparently been skating on his own, he decided to stay back in Ottawa rather than join the team on this one game road trip. Nick Cousins did make the trip and skated in a non-contact jersey.
As is tradition, no Nick Jensen at the AM skate. Same lineup as Sunday night.
