Who ARE the Ottawa Senators though?
We are now seven games into the 2024/2025 season and it’s still a tough question to answer.
For 55 minutes on Friday night, they looked like a group that could hang with just about anyone. Unfortunately for the other five minutes, they looked like a team prone to defensive breakdowns that still can’t get a save when they need it.
If there is one thing the Senators have done well through the first few weeks of the season, it’s bounce back from a loss. They’ll look to do that again when they visit the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night.
Morning skate is scheduled for 1:30 PM today so we’ll have to wait till later to confirm a lineup. Here’s how they lined up at practice yesterday though. Still no Shane Pinto, David Perron or Artem Zub.
Tkachuk-Stützle-Amadio
Giroux-Norris-Batherson
Gregor-Greig-Cousins
Reinhardt-Gaudette-MacEwen
Sanderson-Hamonic
Chabot-Jensen
Kleven-Bernard Docker
Starting goalie is TeeBeeDee until later today.
Puck drop is scheduled for 9:00 PM in Denver. It’s also a school night so govern yourselves accordingly. The game will be made available for viewing (TSN5) and listening (TSN1200) and stealing (the internet).
Wondering how the Senators match-up against the Avalanche or just looking to scratch the ol’ rows and columns itch? Either way, the HEAD2HEAD table has it covered.
