Ah, Manitoba.
They call it the keystone province, you know? The geographic centre of the country and the slurpee capital of Canada 20 years running, Manitoba is known for its lakes, its plethora of festivals, its bitterly cold temperatures and its Winnipeg Jets.
And tonight YOUR Ottawa Senators have the good fortune of travelling right into the heart of that beautiful province and going toe to toe with those very Winnipeg Jets.
It’s a hockey game, folks. And it’s happening pretty soon.
Obviously the big news ahead of this one is the debut of Travis Hamonic. Acquired in a minor/fan base destroying transaction prior to the deadline, Hamonic arrives in Ottawa under strange circumstances. While he is personally excited to start a new chapter in Ottawa and the team is eager to see if he can regain some of the magic from early in his career, twitter remains very sad about the untimely expiration of that 3rd round pick.
Okay, okay enough with nonsense here. The game is starting soon and you need to know who is playing with who.
