Game Day- Senators Travel to MSG to Visit Rangers

Ho hum, just another Thursday night.

Other than Derick Brassard playing his 1000th game against his former-team and Jakob Chychrun and Patrick Kane likely making their debuts with their new teams and the Ottawa Senators playing their biggest game of the year in the most famous arena on earth, there’s really not a lot going on tonight.

The Ottawa Senators visit the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden in a big ol’ game of ice hockey.

While he wasn’t on the ice for the morning skate, it does sound like Jakob Chychrun will make his Sens debut tonight.

We’ll have to confirm if he plays, where he plays and who comes out so he can play closer to puck drop but there is one thing we know for sure…JAKOB CHYCHRUN IS AN OTTAWA SENATOR.

Ohhhhhh he’s gonna play.

Here’s how the Senators lined up this morning.

Tkachuk-Stützle-Giroux
DeBrincat-Pinto-Batherson
Joseph-Gambrell-Gauthier
Brassard-Kastelic-Watson

Chabot-Zub
Sanderson-Hamonic
Brannstrom-Holden

No word on a starting goalie yet.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 PM in the Big Apple. The game is available on TSN5, RDS, TSN1200 and if you’re looking for a stream, cast your gaze downward closer to game time.

Here’s a look at this evening’s match-up via the award-winning HEAD2HEAD table, which was recently recognized as the city’s best sports-related homemade statistical table by Faces Magazine.
