Game Day – Senators Travel to Buffalo to Visit Sabres

The interesting thing about that game on Saturday night is at no point during the proceedings did it cross my mind that the Ottawa Senators might lose.

It’s not that they blew out a Seattle Kraken but they were just in complete control of the game from the moment the puck dropped. That’s something we’ve seen a few times this season too. Where the Senators were clearly the better team from start to finish.

The Sens look to build on that performance when they visit the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night in Buffalo.

Could be some good news coming on the injury front.

Artem Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuub was a full participant in yesterday’s practice and while Travis Green was fairly non-committal about his status afterwards, the fact that Zub spent a lot of time with Jake Sanderson seems like a pretty good sign. Shane Pinto was also on the ice for the first half of practice but left early. Not ready to return yet but a step in the right direction.

We’ll assume same lineup for now and hope that it includes a bit more Zub at the morning skate.

Tkachuk-Stützle-Greig
Giroux-Norris-Batherson
Gregor-Ostapchuk-Amadio
Cousins-Gaudette-MacEwen

Sanderson-Hamonic
Chabot-Jensen
Kleven-Bernard Docker

No word on a starting goalie just yet and frankly, Travis Green is offended that you would even ask the question.

Puck drops in the home of Josh Allen at 7:08 PM. The game is available on TSN5, TSN1200 and on shady streaming sites all across Al Gore’s information super-highway.

Wondering how these teams match-up and just too damn lazy to look up your own stats? The HEAD2HEAD table is the table for you.
