Game Day posts live on! For now…
It’s hard to remember the last time the Ottawa Senators put together a 60-minute effort like that. Certainly the best of the season. And it feels like it’s been years.
To stroll into Raleigh, North Carolina and not only go toe-to-toe with the Hurricanes but basically suck the life out of the building completely. A text book road game against one of the top teams in the league. The kind of game that shows the real potential of this group.
The test now is to do it again. The Ottawa Senators return home to host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night.
Back to back so no morning skate scheduled, obviously. And it doesn’t sound like Travis Green plans to meet with the media before the game either. That means we’ll have to guess a lineup and maybe more importantly, a starting goalie.
No changes, I reckon.
