Brady and Matthew meet in Round 3.
The first two encounters were a sight to see.
In game one it was the Sens that took control.
On Saturday though, they fell in a 3-0 hole.
The Flames scored first and they never let up.
Only temporarily derailing our run to the Cup.
And again we get to see Brady and Matthew Tkachuk
We’re still in last place?! What the flying puck?!
Ottawa and Calgary meet for a third time.
And thankfully I am out of words that rhyme.
The Ottawa Senators and Calgary Flames meet again at the Canadian Tire Centre.
DJ Smith met with the media yesterday and provided a few updates. Ryan Dzingel is free from his quarantine but they are going to give him a bit of time to get up to speed.
And while he didn’t provide details, Smith also confirmed that Derek Stepan will be out long-term. Pierre Dorion is expected to provide more of an update on that front this week.
More Belleville/taxi squad shuffling earlier today as Logan Brown and Filip Gustavsson are back to Belleville while Clark Bishop and Kevin Mandolese join the taxi squad.
One change to the Ottawa lineup as Braydon Coburn draws in for Erik Brannstrom
Here’s a best guess based on yesterday’s practice.
Tkachuk-Norris-Brown
Paul-White-Dadonov
Stützle-Tierney-Batherson
Peca-Anisimov-Watson
Chabot-Zaitsev
Reilly-Zub
Coburn-Gudbranson
Matt Murray is expected to get the start.
Puck drop is scheduled for approximately 480 seconds after 1900 hours. The game is available on TSN5, Sportsnet West, RDS, TSN1200 and StreamThatSensHockey.com.
