While the last six days have provided us with more than enough time to discuss everything but the Sens, it’s time to get this thing back on truck.
Ah damn it.
The Ottawa Senators return from a six-day break when they host the New Jersey Devils in front of 500 fans at the Canadian Tire Centre in beautiful Kanata, Ontario.
Because it’s been nearly a week since we last saw our hockey team in action, perhaps it’s time for a bit of a reintroduction. Settle in as we break down every relevant moment in the history of this proud franchise, from (Neil) Brady to Brady (Tkachuk).
Well said.
DJ Smith met with the media yesterday and provided a fairly lengthy update on some of the team’s walking wounded. While they are still waiting for an update on Josh Norris and his injured shoulder, they are getting a few guys back. Nikita Zaitsev, Connor Brown and Dylan Gambrell are all expected to rejoin the team for this one.
Just an optional game day skate for the Senators today so a best guess at the lineup until we hear from the Head Coach.
Tkachuk-Stützle-Gaudette
Formenton-Paul- Brown
Tierney-Kastalic-Ennis
Sanford-Gambrell-Watson
Chabot-Zaitsev
Holden-Zub
Brannstrom-Brown
No word on a starting goalie yesterday but would expect Matt Murray to get the call.
Hope ya like the Sens by the way because this is one of five games they are scheduled to play this week.
Puck drop is set for 7:08 PM at the CTC. The game is available on Sportsnet which means this is a pretty generous use of the word “available”. TSN1200 has the radio feed and streams will be made available in the comment section for the low, low price of $9.99.
Here’s a table for you.
