Change takes time.
The Ottawa Senators didn’t get that immediate “new Head Coach bump” that some other teams did and for a couple weeks anyway, somehow looked worse. Yet with time to implement his philosophy, there is zero doubt that Jacques Martin has changed the way the Senators play.
And recently, it’s working. Over the last month or so, the Ottawa Senators have been one of the best teams in the National Hockey League. I know what you’re thinking – there goes that wacky ol’ SensChirp again, ranting and raving about how good the Sens are. Except this time, it’s true!
See! I told ya!
The Ottawa Senators will look to continue their recent surge when they host the defending Champs.
