Game Day- Senators Host Blues on Sunday Afternoon

Friday night was almost perfect.

A fitting ceremony for a long-time fan favourite. A packed house. And the good guys were up by a couple goals in the third period. Then, in the blink of an eye, it all unravelled. Instead of a perfect night, it was a two-goal lead frittered away and an overtime loss against one of the league’s worst teams.

The Ottawa Senators look to bounce back when they host the St. Louis Blues on Sunday afternoon.

No morning skate with the early start but based on yesterday’s practice, it seems like there could be some juggling among the forward lines.

DJ Smith says Austin Watson is a game time decision. It also sounds like Tyler Motte will sit this afternoon with a possible trade in the works.

Dillon Heatherington has been recalled from Belleville and could draw in on defence.

A best guess for now.
