Game Day- Senators Homestand Continues vs. Jackets

I have some unfortunate news to pass along- it would appear that the good ship Senator has hit some troubled waters.

Par for the course in this wacky season but even with a couple key pieces returning to the lineup recently, the Senators have stumbled. Not a full out fall but one of those awkward things where you slip on some ice and fight so hard to keep your balance that it’s actually worse than if you had just fallen down entirely. Anyway, pucks are entering the net with relative ease at the offensive end of the rink but they’re having a hell of time keeping the biscuit out of their own basket.

Fourteen goals against in the last three games is less than ideal. The Senators will look to get things back on track when they host INSERT NAME OF A COLUMBUS BLUE JACKET and the rest of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

No game day skate for the Senators this morning on account of rest being a motherfuckin’ weapon. Wrong place, wrong time Jackets. Here’s a best guess at the lineup based on some well-placed sources (the lineup from last game).

Tkachuk-Norris-Brown
Formenton-Stützle-Ennis
Paul-White-Sanford
Kelly-Gambrell-Watson

Chabot-Zub
Holden-Zaitsev
Brannstrom-Brown

Anton Forsberg gets the start in goal for the good guys.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:38 PM at the Tire. The game is available on Sportsnet again, if you can believe it. Dean and Gord have the call on TSN 1200 and if illegal internet streaming is your thing, please add your name in the comment section below so I can report you to the proper authorities.
