Game Day – Senators End Road Trip in Vancouver

As feared, the Senators got some pretty terrible news on the injury front today. Jake Sanderson is considered “week to week” after leaving Saturday’s game with an upper body injury and while the team isn’t providing specifics beyond that, the idea of playing even one game without Sanderson is pretty terrible. Dennis Gilbert has been recalled from Belleville.

Based on the morning skate, it seems like Nikolas Matinpalo will draw in. Here’s how the Sens lined up in Vancouver.

Batherson-Stützle-Giroux
Tkachuk-Cozens-Greig
Cousins-Pinto-Amadio
Foegele-Eller-Zetterlund

Chabot-Zub
Kleven-Spence
Matinpalo-Jensen

James Reimer starts.

Puck drops at 9:00 PM tonight. Jeff Bezos has the TV coverage and TSN1200 and 104.7 FM have the radio feeds. Some resourceful internet pirates will likely come up with a way to share Jeff’s coverage with the masses.
