Game Day- Senators Continue Winning Streak vs. Devils

On Wednesday night, we learned a valuable lesson on the power of positive thinking.

Through a collective vibe reset, we were able to will the Ottawa Senators to victory. Anyone that watched that game could see it happening in real time. The Senators still took an endless stream of bad penalties but the puck somehow stayed out of their net. Alex DeBrincat still fired an endless stream of pucks towards the opposition goalie but this time, one of them went right into the net. Austin Watson even scored a goal.

None of this happens without you. Without the vibes.

Today, we’ll need to take it to the next level though. The New Jersey Devils have reeled off 11 straight wins and roll into Ottawa ready to have that winning streak snapped.

Think it. Believe it. And it will be so.

The Ottawa Senators continue their lengthy winning streak when they host Bobby Holik and the rest of the New Jersey Devils.

Some much needed good news on the injury front as Artem Zub makes his long-awaited return to the Ottawa lineup. Zub hasn’t played since October 27th against the Minnesota Wild. Like everything related to Artem Zub, the injury was somewhat mysterious and ended up keeping him on the sidelines a little longer than expected. But the good news is he’s back and more Zub than ever.

With Zub ready to return, the Senators had to make room on the roster and that means Nikita Zaitsev has been assigned to Belleville and can no longer be blamed for all the team’s trials and tribulations. It does give the BSens a good excuse if things go sideways though.

Thomas Chabot won’t play today but he is expected to join the team on the upcoming west coast road trip. There’s a chance he returns next week.

No game day skate for the Senators today but here’s how they lined up at practice yesterday. Seems like Mark Kastelic and Jacob Larsson are the odd men out but we’ll confirm later this morning.
