See, if you’re going to lose to one of the worst teams in the NHL, in the middle of a playoff push, it’s important to do it in the most spectacular way possible so that the lingering embarassement carries over to the next game.
At least that’s my theory anyway.
The Ottawa Senators look to get things back on track when they visit a Seattle Kraken. The Seattle Krakens. The Kraken of Seattle. Wait, hang on…what the hell is a Kraken anyway? And why is there only one of them?
Just an optional Game Day skate for the Senators in Seattle and it’s not until 2:30 PM so we’ll look to yesterday’s practice for clues on the lineup. Based on the way they were arranged yesterday it does seem like Nick Holden may come in for Erik Brannstrom on the blueline.
Could be a couple changes up front too, as both Patrick Brown and Parker Kelly were in regular spots yesterday. That would mean Julien Gauthier and Derick Brassard sitting.

No word on starting goalie yet.
Puck drop is scheduled for 10:00 PM, which is of course, ridiculous. And even worse if you find yourself in Halifax. An 11:00 PM start may be the death of me. The game is available on TSN5, RDS, TSN1200 and some late-night pirates will serve up the streams.
Here’s a table with a bunch of numbers and stuff. We’ll call it the HEAD2HEAD table I guess.
